  • I am editing this review after 2 months post op. So we used him as a Medical weight loss management as required by my insurance. Every appointment (11 so far) EVERY APPOINTMENT WAS ON TIME!!!!!!! No waiting around burning my day up. Right in and back, Tina and Julia are both very knowledgeable about what is needed for the insurance. Every time they were positive and encouraging. Dr Dicicco is very experienced and knowledgeable and very easy to talk to and ask any questions you may have. I am in the medical field and know the ropes some... I have no affiliation or connection to him but wanted to put you at ease to know that he knows what he is doing! He is Very good with the Da Vinci Robot!!! trust me when I say that is what you want from a doctor!!! I received my surgery on 8/20/2015.. I was Very worried about the pain and recovery time. I had even looked at other surgeons some who use what is a pain pump post op. THIS IS TOTALLY NOT NEEDED! I received 1 dose of pain meds the day of surgery and maybe 3 doses of the liquid pain med at home.. that's it... very little pain. we didn't need anyone to take care of us afterwards. was up walking around that night after surgery in the hospital and continued from there on out. This is the best thing i have ever done!! wish i had done it sooner..     Growing up I was always skinny, even through high school. When I graduated the weight started coming on. I opened an ice cream shop with my family and things went down hill. Long work days, stress, all added up. They were all excuses. My wife and I needed a change. My wife underwent rny and I saw how great it worked, the changes mentally and physically she made. I wanted it, I wanted to join her and be healthy for our kids. A few months later we moved to Florida and I quick looked for a Dr to start the process. When I found florida surgical weight loss I knew they were the right ones for me. I underwent gastric sleeve surgery in january 2014. Quickly making changes in my routines helped me succeed. I've been faithfully working out 4, 5, sometimes 6 days a week in the gym. No more being held back by weight. I hit my doctors goal by 6 months post op and by 8 months I reached my personal goal. I still enjoy food, but I am no longer a slave to it. I know run 2 growing support groups on facebook and encourage as many people as I can through exercise and fitness.
